I designed our adventure circuits across multiple difficulty grades (Easy, Moderate, Challenging). An 'Easy' route entails 3 to 4 hours of walking across gentle terrain. A 'Challenging' trek can involve 6 to 8 hours of strenuous daily walking with substantial elevation gains. During our planning discussions, I will advise you on the route best matching your physical endurance.

Trekking & Hiking in Vietnam: Off the Beaten Track
Immersive experiences tailor-made by our passionate local experts.
Tread secret paths amidst untamed, generous nature.
Far from paved roadways, Vietnam reveals a raw, unspoiled majesty that belongs solely to those who travel on foot. From the dizzying amphitheaters of terraced rice fields in Mu Cang Chai and Hoang Su Phi to the subtropical canopies of Pu Luong, our hikes take you close to the land and to the hands that have tended it with centuries of patience.
Each walking day rewards you with breathtaking panoramas and heartfelt welcomes in authentic village homestays. In the warm shelter of a traditional Thai or Hmong stilt house, sharing a dinner prepared over an open hearth and savoring hot mountain tea transforms physical exertion into an unforgettable human communion.
Taking one step after another through our sacred mountains is learning anew to listen to the whisper of the breeze, the rustle of bamboo groves, and the timeless wisdom of the hill peoples.
Physical activity guided by professionals
\n\nA multi-day trek requires flawless logistics. That is my commitment to you. Our local guides, often born in the mountains they help you discover, know every shortcut, water source and ridge. They are trained in first aid. For longer treks, we also work with local porters, generating direct income for their communities, so that you can walk lightly with just your daypack. In the evening, a comfortable campsite or welcoming guesthouse awaits, with nourishing meals to restore your energy.

Key advice to prepare your trip to Vietnam
Weather is decisive when planning your trek! For hikes in the North (Sapa, Ha Giang, Pu Luong), the ideal seasons run from late September to late November (crisp, dry air and shimmering golden harvests) and from March to May (vibrant green spring landscapes). By all means, avoid July and August in the highlands, as heavy monsoon downpours make dirt paths treacherous or impassable, and cloud cover often obscures the views.
