State licenses, legal guarantees, and regulatory framework of the agency.

Regulatory Framework & Official Licenses

In Vietnam, as in other countries, the organization of travel itineraries by an inbound travel agency is subject to strict regulations. In accordance with the Tourism Law of Vietnam, any company providing inbound hospitality and guiding services for international travelers must hold two mandatory official licenses:

  1. The Business Registration Certificate (Commercial License) issued by the Business Registration Office and the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment.
  2. The International Tour Operator License issued by the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT), the state governing body overseeing tourism professionals.

Sensations Vietnam operates in full compliance with current regulations and holds all statutory licenses required to design, market, and operate tours throughout Indochina.

Financial Guarantees & Traveler Protection

To obtain and maintain the International Tour Operator License, Sensations Vietnam strictly fulfills the consumer protection standards mandated by the Vietnamese state:

  • Escrow Bank Guarantee Deposit: A mandatory statutory financial deposit is placed with a state commercial bank, under the exclusive supervision of the National Authority of Tourism. This financial guarantee is dedicated to fully compensating travelers in the event of default or non-fulfillment of contractual commitments.
  • Qualified Staff & Certified Guides: All our travel advisors have thorough hands-on field expertise. The French-speaking guides accompanying our tours are required to hold a professional international tour guide license issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
  • Verified Infrastructure: All our local service partners (accommodations, air-conditioned transport, boats in Halong Bay) comply with strict applicable safety and comfort standards.

All content on this website (texts, photographs, videos, logos, maps, graphics, and site architecture) is the exclusive property of Sensations Vietnam or is used under specific operating authorization.
