Clean, airy rooms in a traditional family home set amidst a tropical orchard, with private bathrooms and comfortable bedding.

From cottage coconut workshops in Ben Tre to the sunrise vitality of the Cai Rang floating market, experience genuine southern hospitality through an authentic island homestay on An Binh Island and scenic traditional sampan outings.
Morning departure from Ho Chi Minh City in a private vehicle with your French-speaking guide, heading south. Arrive in Ben Tre, lush gateway to the Mekong Delta, to board a riverboat.
Cruise along delta branches toward the peaceful countryside of Mo Cay, acclaimed for its cottage coconut industry: processing coconut fiber, fashioning everyday tools, and crafting traditional sweets. Hop on bicycles or ride aboard a motorized cart (xe loi) along shaded paths weaving beneath coconut palms.
Continue with a peaceful rowed sampan excursion through narrow arroyos sheltered by water coconut fronds. Stop at Mr. Van's family home to sample local honey tea and homemade coconut candy.
In the afternoon, travel toward Vinh Long and take a short ferry crossing to An Binh Island ("Island of Peace"). Settle into Mrs. Thuy's family guesthouse, surrounded by a lush tropical fruit orchard. Free time to relax before taking part in preparing an authentic home-cooked southern dinner with your hosts.
Driving: approx. 130 km (2.5 hours). Convivial dinner and homestay overnight on An Binh Island.
Early morning wake-up and farewells to your hosts before traveling to Can Tho, the economic capital of the delta located on the right bank of the Hau River.
Board a private motorboat to immerse yourself in the vibrant bustle of the Cai Rang floating market. Scores of wooden boats laden with tropical fruits, vegetables, and regional produce tie up alongside each other, their goods displayed high on tall bamboo poles (cay beo).
Disembark for a walk through the bustling An Binh land market, offering an engaging contrast with the river commerce. Then proceed to Phong Dien to visit an aromatic citrus orchard and enjoy a short bicycle ride along the So Dua River.
In the afternoon, begin the road return to Ho Chi Minh City, stopping en route to visit a colorful temple of the Cao Dai faith with its striking syncretic architecture. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Travel Log
Selected moments to experience the landscapes, encounters, and rhythm of this itinerary.
